I would like to share with you the success of the Praise team and youth here in Mactan church of Christ with the help of our Almighty God and the church leaders here. I am proud to introduce also my partners, Bro. Aldous who is my mentor and church minister here, and Bro. Dadz Corpus who is the youth minister. They are my partners who have been supporting me since the day i started my work as worship and music minister here.
On February 26 Sunday afternoon, we had a talk show about love, courtship, marriage and sex. We had invited great speakers from the church to share their knowledge and experiences about that topic.
Praise God because many young people have attended of the show. We had 61 visitors from the youth here and from other groups. With God's grace the show was successful because of the cooperation of the church members, the young people of Mactan and the leaders.
The objective of the show is to promote C-major praise Team, to fellowship with other youth, to get prospects from the visitors, advertising the Mactan church of Christ, to guide young people in their future decisions and to promote moral values to young people.
First, second and third week of February was our busiest weeks preparing things to be done for the talk show such as; Praise Team singing practice, Visitation, Inviting students and distribution of invitation cards about the talk show.
I'm happy because everybody was doing their part, and because of this, the "talk show" was successful. To God be the glory forever and ever....
I am still preaching twice Sunday of the month in Cebuano service, twice a month in midweek service, twice Sundays of the month song leading. I am also leading church singing practice every 1st and 2nd Saturday of the month and every Saturday for the C-major praise team.
