January 2006 Report

I'm glad to share with you my ministry herein Mactan church of Christ here in the Philippines. On January 14-16, the praise team here in Mactan had a concert in one of the Bible college here in the Philppines - Sunrise Christian college.

The praise Team was blessed and encouraged because that was the first time they performed in front of hundreds of people. It was the most memorable event that the youth had ever experienced in thier lives. And now I'm so happy because the praise team here are inviting thier classmates, friends and nieghbors to join the praise team. They are so proud and glad to share to others thier experiences. It is good news for me because the praise team is getting bigger.

Before, there are just 10 singers but now The praise Team has amembers of more than 20, and praise God for that. Thepraise team now has become evangelistic and I am happy because they do their purpose to share Jesus to others. Hopefully, this year I can form two PraiseTeam in the church here.

I am now a worship Director, and I am in charge of making the worship service to be more alive and in order. I am mentoring right now three song leaders. They are so teachable and have leadership. I assign them to lead songs during birthdays, funerals, youth activity and etc.I lead worship singing two sundays and the two sundays I give to my song leaders trainees.

We divided the members here into three groups for midweek service and we called this Zoning. I am assigned to preach every wednesday devotional with the leaders in Zone One. I am also preaching cebuano service which is our dialect here twice a month.

Every saturday is our church singing practice and I am the one who lead and teach them. I hope that you will continue to pray my work here for God's glory. Next month will be the most exiting month because we have made activies where we can get more people to accept Jesus in baptism. To God be the glory forevere and ever....
